Steve ready to run for Sport Relief

Cllr Steve Sollitt, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Culture on Southampton City Council , is pictured preparing to run in the Sport Relief Mile that was held in the city on Saturday.

Steve Said "Southampton was chosen as one of the main 15 Sport Relief venues and it was a privilege to take part and raise money for a worthy cause."

Lib Dem run Southampton, finely balanced at 16 Lib Dems, 16 Labour and 16 Conservatives, are proud of their record of leisure and cultural participation across the city.

Steve added "We have been involved in projects ranging from World Cup Football on a big screen to concerts and cultural events in the parks and also the prospect of also being an outside broadcast for Last Night of the Proms in September"
