Ed Davey Visits Southampton University

Ed Davey, Liberal Democrat Shadow Spokesman for Education recently visited Southampton University.

He was involved in a question and answer session with students on a variety of issues including students fees, standards of basic eduction and the environment.

Speaking after the visit Ed said "It was a pleasure to come and meet students in Southampton. It is so important that we take time to listen to students concerns on all issues"

The Liberal Democrats have recently launched their student society at the university which is growing rapidly.

Steve Sollitt, Campaigner for Southampton Test said "Its great to see that we now have a growing students group at the university. It is clear that students see the Liberal Democrats as a powerful voice for their concerns and the only political party to take their issues seriously"
